With an increased need for fire protection, BlastTac has partnered with CarbonX®, a leading provider of fire-resistant fabric, to create FireMax. FireMax can be added to any of our series of blast blankets or blast curtains across the BlastTac® line.

FireMax blankets and curtains are designed to defend against fire, heat and arc flash in a single textile. FireMax technology is lightweight, flexible and odor resistant; it is designed to shed molten metal, certain chemicals, flammable liquids and other molten substances. The patented EPIC encapsulated barrier of silicone is water resistant and long lasting through harsh weather conditions.

Tested to ASTM and NFPA standards, we offer a variety of standard features as well as custom engineered designs to meet your safety standards including:

• Arc flash Protection
• Patented Epic™ Encapsulation
• Waterproof
• Excellent Durability

For exclusively fire protection, FireMax offers its own line of FM series thermal blankets and curtains. The FM series is truly non-flammable as our custom woven fabric will not burn, melt or ignite.

With our extensive manufacturing capability, we can create a product that fits your desired application. Our FireMax FM Series is manufactured at Breton Industries in Amsterdam, NY.
